ClockingIT is a free to use Project Management solution, which helps your team stay focused and on top of things. It was created by Erlend & Ellen Simonsen, as a way of learning new technologies, and relax with some fun programming while creating something useful.
The project was started while Erlend was working as a consultant, and needed a way to keep track of how much time was spent per client and project. Earlier attempts in .NET and Java took too long or became too complex for one programmer to complete in a reasonable amount of time, but when Ruby On Rails was announced things started progressing nicely.
| We've just completed a major rewrite, so you might want to have a look at the revised new features list or the screenshots. |
To get started, look at the tutorial (work in progress). It's not all that hard to use, but it might take some getting used to if you're unfamiliar with things like tags or milestones. You may also find the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) area useful.
The source for ClockingIT is available to early adopters who want to help make a releasable version. It is released under the MIT/X Consortium License. Major features planned can be seen in the Roadmap.
We're currently localizing ClockingIT to several languages. If you want to help - feel free
